The Laurels of Milford employs a team of highly qualified medical professionals, including a Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Restorative Care Nurses, a Wound Care Nurse, state tested Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Speech Therapist. Our on-site Rehab, Dietary, Social Work, and Activities departments provide personalized and compassionate care to each guest. From the moment you walk through the front doors, the warmth and caring of the staff will begin to gain your trust and confidence, as they strive to exceed your expectations.
Unlike other facilities that use "contracted" staff members, each member of the team at The Laurels of Milford is directly employed, not "contracted". Lori was born and raised in Highland County where she graduated from Lynchburg-Clay High school. In 1995, Lori graduated from Chatfield College with an Associate's Degree in Business Management. She then received her Bachelor's Degree from Wilberforce University. Prior to joining The Laurels of Milford, Lori had been employed in the healthcare field as Admission Director, Marketing Director and Social Service Director. Lori began her career working for Laurel Health Care Company in 2001, as the Director of Marketing at The Laurels of Hillsboro. She then became the Assistant Administrator in 2004, and Administrator in 2005. Lori subsequently transferred to The Laurels of Blanchester in 2010 and joined The Laurels of Milford in 2019.
Director of Nursing
Sheila has worked at The Laurels of Milford since January 2001. She had previously worked there as a charge nurse, supervisor as well as other positions. After working at a local hospital and other long-term care facilities, Sheila decided it was time to return home as our Director of Nursing. She is delighted to be part of The Laurels of Milford family. Sheila is a mother of two daughters and is a grandmother to three.
Director of Marketing
Danielle Sears is the Director of Marketing for The Laurels of Milford. She has worked in the healthcare industry since 2005. Her professional interest is to focus on building relationships with the community
and providing education about senior services while being an advocate for all seniors.
Danielle has successfully completed the Certified Executive for Health Care at Home (CEHCH) certification program offered through the Ohio Health Care Association and the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice and has passed the NAB (National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards) Home and Community Based Services Examination to earn the CEHCH designation. Danielle is also enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University where she is working towards her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration.
Danielle resides in Cincinnati, OH with her two girls and husband, Randy. In addition, she serves as her daughter's Girl Scout Troop leader, is an avid PTO member and volunteers for Down Syndrome Association of Cincinnati, SAAP and Children's Hospital.
